Summer Rains Dress

I actually really like this dress! I get a lot of compliments when I wear it, and it fits me fairly well.
Pros: the dress is lined, which I'm really happy about, and the lining closely follows the main part of the dress so you don't have to worry about there being a weird line where the opacity suddenly changes. The pockets also are a nice touch.
Mehs: This material doesn't come with a lot of care instructions, but I can tell you it feels a lot like silk but with linen's tendency to crease.You definitely want to have an iron or steamer if you buy this, and stick to hand washing.
Cons: you can see the outlines of the pockets if you position them forwards, which bothers me. However, you don't notice them as much if you have them pointing towards your butt. Additionally, the skirt so light that it will blow up at the slightest hint of wind. I'm probably going to sew in dress weights so I don't flash people.

This dress is so feminine, I love it. The length is perfect for me to wear with a flat summer sandal. I love how flowy it is and a wrap is always so flattering for my pear shaped body. The only downside is it’s slightly shear and I wish the tie was a bit longer so I could double wrap around my waist, but I decided to keep it anyway. It’s so effortless. For reference, I have a 30” waist, 42” hips, and 34B on top.

Its a good dress, just a little too long for me, but I like the print and overall style of the dress.
