OUR IMPACT

At Reistor, sustainability goes beyond fabrication. Everything we do begins with a simple question: How can we make fashion that is beautiful, timeless, reduces negative environmental impact, and is as kind to the planet as possible? For us, that answer has always been about more than just clothes. It’s about the choices we make at every step: the fabrics we use, the processes we follow, the people we work with, and the systems we build behind the scenes. Sustainability is the very foundation of everything we stand for, and it inspires us to constantly push for better solutions.

From day one, we’ve worked with eco-friendly fabrics that are lighter on the planet. 100% hemp fabric, organic cotton, BembergTM crepe, linen, and modal: these are not just eco-friendly materials but conscious alternatives to synthetics that pollute our soil and water.

Our processes, too, are guided by ethics and transparency. Fair wages, ethical processes, and mindful use of resources are the principles that let us create fashion that’s ethical, comfortable, and effortlessly beautiful. But even with all these steps, we know that fashion as an industry leaves a significant environmental impact. So the question for us became: what more can we do to minimize our footprint?

Clean Energy, Conscious Fashion: Solar Power

Our solar power factory

The installation of solar-powered panels at our facility has been one of the most meaningful changes we’ve made in recent years. In addition to being an infrastructure upgrade, it also represents a fundamental shift in how we think about energy and responsibility.

By moving toward clean, renewable power, we’re reducing our dependence on non-renewable sources and taking an active role in addressing climate change. So far, our solar plant has generated 47.232 MWh of clean energy. That number may sound technical, but what it translates into is even more inspiring: a reduction of 47 tons of CO2 emissions already achieved.

A Step Toward Renewable Energy

The installation of solar-powered panels at our facility has been one of the most meaningful changes we’ve made in recent years. In addition to being an infrastructure upgrade, it also represents a fundamental shift in how we think about energy and responsibility.

By moving toward clean, renewable power, we’re reducing our dependence on non-renewable sources and taking an active role in addressing climate change. So far, our solar plant has generated 47.232 MWh of clean energy. That number may sound technical, but what it translates into is even more inspiring: a reduction of 47 tons of CO2 emissions already achieved.

On an annual basis, we’re looking at nearly 70 tons of CO2 emissions reduced every year because of this one initiative. To put it in perspective, that’s equivalent to the carbon absorbed by thousands of trees in a year or the emissions avoided from driving a car across thousands of miles.

As we continue to expand and innovate, our goal is to generate even more clean energy, reduce even more emissions, and integrate renewable systems into everything we do.

OUR PEOPLE

The people behind our clothes are just as important as the clothes themselves. We prioritize creating a safe, fair, and supportive environment for everyone on our team, ensuring that every person feels respected, valued, and empowered to grow. From fair wages to ethical practices, we take every step to nurture a workplace where people thrive alongside the brand.

Woman-Owned, Legacy-Driven

Reistor is woman-owned and built on care, honesty, and inclusivity. Founded by a brother-sister duo from a family of textile entrepreneurs with a legacy spanning over 70 years, we’ve carried forward that heritage with a new purpose: to create fashion that’s thoughtful, ethical, and better from the inside out.

Our pieces are designed with women in mind, and women lead the way at every stage of what we do: from stitching and design to leading teams, managing accounts, and running daily operations. They’re not just part of Reistor; they’re at the heart of Reistor.

Empowering Women, Building Communities

We know that true sustainability also means social sustainability. That’s why, right from the launch of Reistor, we’ve partnered with Srujna. Srujna is an NGO supporting women from underserved communities, to help them learn valuable skills and secure steady work. Through this collaboration, women gain practical experience, earn fair wages, and build more secure futures for themselves and their families.

At Reistor, we always prioritize safe working conditions, fair pay, and respectful practices for all our employees. We’ve seen the ripple effects firsthand: households become more stable, children stay in school, and women feel empowered to make their own choices.

For us, this commitment to people is just as important as reducing our carbon footprint. We aim to create a workplace where women can grow, lead, and feel truly valued, because sustainability isn’t just about the planet; it’s about the people who make our fashion possible.

OUR PROCESS

We choose eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, 100% hemp fabric, BembergTM crepe, linen, and modal; not just for their softness and timeless appeal, but because they reduce water usage and minimize environmental impact compared to conventional materials. By prioritizing sustainable fabrics, we ease the strain on soil, water, and ecosystems, creating pieces that are made to last.

Our commitment to ethics extends beyond the fabrics. We ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and inclusive workplaces, with women leading every stage, from stitching and design to managing teams and daily operations.

ETHICALLY EMPOWERED

Through our partnership with Srujna, we empower women from underserved communities with skills, steady work, and independence, building stronger futures for themselves and their families.

SUSTAINABLE CHOICES

also means tackling energy and emissions. Our facility is powered by solar panels, generating 47.232 MWh of clean energy, reducing 47 tons of CO2 emissions, and contributing to an annual reduction of approximately 70 tons.  By combining renewable energy with eco-friendly fabrics and mindful practices, we actively lower our carbon footprint, water waste, and overall environmental impact.
